Once at el hierro…
If you are arriving by plane (or are not bringing your vehicle by ferry) it is useful to have the use of a rental car to get around the island. We are happy to book a car in your name (approximately 25€ per day) for you arrival at the airport or port.

How to get to el sitio:
Once you have arrived you have to follow the signs to Valverde. Before you get to Valverde follow the signs to Frontera - El Golfo.

After you have gone through the tunnel, follow the road another 6 km till you get to La Frontera. At the end of that road, turn left and continue past the petrol station until you get to a square with a church, La Plaza de Candelaria.

At this plaza, with the church on your right and Bar Joapira on your left, you will see a wooden sign indicating El Sitio. Following this sign, you should also see a big grey house to your left.

Continue another 500 metres until you see a stone wall with green double doors- this is El Sitio.
